Weiss-Livnat Master's program in Holocaust Studies (MA)

This unique program is exclusively designed to provide the next generation of Holocaust experts with the skillset to address 21st century challenges, amidst the global rise in antisemitism, Holocaust distortion and denial. The program's multidisciplinary approach encompasses a unique blend of theoretical knowledge, experiential learning, practical skills and internships at globally renowned institutions, all designed for a successful career in Holocaust research, education and commemoration.

The program offers a fully-rounded perspective on Judaism and its global impact, for a comprehensive understanding on biblical, Talmudic, historical, philosophical and mystical levels. From the Biblical era through the Christian-Jewish debate in Middle Ages to modern times, the program explores all stages of Jewish history and thought, including access to first hand groundbreaking research and educational field trips to Israel's key historical sights.

Israel Studies (MA)

Today more than ever, the state of Israel has become exceptionally relevant on both local and global levels. This program offers an in-depth study of Israel's history, society culture, complex relations and evolution over time: from a dream, the realization of a state, and a startup nation, moving into the future. The curriculum combines theory with experiential learning, extra curriculum activities, field trips and skills to succeed in careers in public affairs, diplomacy, foreign affairs, education, or research.
